Before using new SAMSUNG battery for SB-L320 for the first time you must charge it full. Please note that for new rechargeable SAMSUNG camcorder batteries, it is necessary to cycle them at least three times or more before they reach peak performance and capacity. Using SB-L320 SAMSUNG battery for the first several times, you may find that they run down (discharge) quickly during using. Don't worry, this is normal until the batteries actually form up. It is important to condition (full discharge and then full charge) SB-L320 battery every two to three weeks. Failure to do so may significantly shorten the camcorder battery's life (this does not apply to Li-Ion batteries, which do not require conditioning).
